Coinage
1 Mark (PP) = 10 Crowns (GP) = 100 Shillings (SP) = 1000 Farthings (CP)
These are not pure coins, but are mixed with "coin metal" to make them all about the same weight. However there are other coins/ingots that are seen that are not part of the usual system.
1 mark silver ingots -- weighing 40 coins, these near pure silver ingots is worth 1 mark (100 SP). these are used for major payments or transporting money.
Groat -- a double sized silver coin worth two shillings, common in use for inns and so on. (2 coin, 2sp value)/
Silver Penny -- a half sized silver coin worth 5 farthings.
Half Crown -- a half sized gold coin worth five shillings.
Any other coin, be it gold, silver, or some sort of odder metal, value comes from what a sage would pay for it (if rare) or for the melt value to be coined into one of the more used coins.
